Reading… might be a bit too ordinary. But then again, I don’t want to stand out by writing something unusual either…

It’s an unusual surname, so it’s probably a little confusing.

Especially before a performance. Mashu-san and Juis-san will hold my hand for me.

I know I can’t keep doing this, but… I think it’s just an old habit? The moment I let my guard down, I end up doing it again. Like what happened just now.

MELLOW DEAR US is going to become a part of Rhythm Link, right? The staff asked me to fill this out.

So, I was… trying to figure out how to answer one of the questions.

Mhm. The one that asks what my hobbies are.

You’re asking if I’m having trouble coming up with a hobby?

No, not exactly. I’m struggling because I’m trying to decide which one to write.

Before I joined MELLOW DEAR US, there was a time when I was just working hard blindly wherever I could. Back then, I ended up trying out all sorts of things.

“Like what”…? Umm… let’s see…

Like how I was an Assistant Director. I also enjoy things like cooking and watching movies.

When it comes to outdoor hobbies, I like cycling and skateboarding. I did some bird watching too.

Then I did coloring and origami… aaand collecting animal plushies, pottery, patchwork, fishing, and other stuff…

Oh! And visiting castles and hiking. I think I liked looking at and collecting sneakers too.

“You really do a lot of different things”…? Umm… I guess I do have more hobbies than most people, don’t I?

There was even a time when I really liked gardening and making resin jewelery. I’ve also composed music…

But I only dabbled in that…

Huh? “You can compose music”…?

But it’s really not as impressive as what you might be imagining, Anzu-san? I just used a software to put together a melody and had a voice synthesizer sing it.

There were people that listened to it, but it’s not like it was incredibly popular or anything…

Of course it wasn’t… There are so many people online that are more talented than me.

So it’s only natural that people are going to listen to the better songs.

That’s why… I ended up wondering if there was even a point in getting into it myself…

Ever since I started thinking about it that way… I haven’t really gone back to composing.

Ahaha… I guess it’s like that for my other hobbies too. I’ve tried all kinds of things, but I never really managed to make them into something of my own… They’re like flowers that never bloom.

So when I’m asked to name a special skill like this… I end up struggling with deciding which one I should write…

I had fun experiencing some of those hobbies, but… I guess I was just someone who enjoyed doing them without being particularly good at any of them. Wouldn’t it be kind of presumptuous to call them hobbies at that point?

But… I don’t think I should settle for something ordinary like reading either…

What do you think I should put, Anzu-san…?
